In 1983, BMX street ridinig was getting it's start in Southern California. Often made fun of for their tiny trick bikes, the founders started the 2-Hip company and 2-Hip contests to give the sport exposure. After the sponsorship money ran out, the dream became designing and building the bikes for the sport. After this pivot, in 2012 the company released its first Groovetech stearing system. Tested and engineered over time, it alows the street BMX rider to shread without the worry of handle bars sliding. 2-Hip continues to produce bikes and parts while spronsoring the next generation of riders.
